- Marble is a porous stone, which means Marble can absorb liquids and stains, making it harder to clean and needing regular sealing.
- While marble benchtops are highly durable, they are still prone to scratching. Sharp knives and other hard objects can leave marks on the surface, which can be difficult to remove.
- Seal the surface regularly and avoid acidic or abrasive cleaning products that can damage the stone. Requires stone-sensitive cleaners to maintain its appearance.
